Coaching Windsurfing




Windsurf race coaching on Bic Technos and RS:X Olympic Equipment.

         5 weeks $320

      Single session $75










All participants must have their own equipment.


We will be covering racing techniques to help you go faster, improve your mark rounding skills and start line techniques.

We will also improve your planing manoevres with emphasis on the fully-planing carve gybe.

Location: Balmoral Beach, With clean winds and a sheltered grassy rigging area. Full use of the club changing rooms/showers are provided.

We will run the coaching regardless of the weather conditions as there is always something we can work on to improve you as a Windsurfer.

Level: We ask that you are able to sail a board confidently, be comfortable in the harness/footstraps and be able to waterstart.

Coaching Format:

  • Start drills and short races

  • Speed tests planing / non planing 

  • Rigging / fine tuning

  • Improve technique 

  • Video recording and analysing 

  • Pumping technique

  • Gybe positioning

What to bring:

  • Windsurf Equipment 

  • Wetsuit/harness

  • Towel

  • A gift for the coach ( we do take bribes)
